Harlequins Lunch with Whitton Students

LUNCH WITH HARLEQUINS! Some of the first team players from the Harlequins Super League team visited Whitton School last week and joined the students for lunch. The students were able to have their photographs taken with, and get autographs from all the players present.  The players spent the lunchtime chatting with both students and staff. The students really enjoyed the visit The Super league team were here to advertise the start of their season which begins in February and runs through until September, and to encourage new players to think about playing rugby league. We were delighted to have the team visit the school – Whitton receives many coaching and other opportunities from the Harlequins RL Community Department and several Whitton students play for their junior side, Richmond Warriors. In addition, we have a few students who are potential first team players who have scholarships with the Harlequins RL junior academy. Thanks to the School Sports partnership for organising the visit.
